The Air Transport Association of America is projecting that Labor Day travel will drop by 5.7 percent this year. The group estimates that 16 million paying passengers will fly globally on U.S. airlines between Aug. 27 and Sept. 3.
European Travel Channel films area (The World)
The European Travel Channel is filming a TV series along the Oregon Coast this week and next, with scheduled stops in the Bay Area. In partnership with Travel Oregon, the travel channel is filming for the 15-part series, Oregon Uncovered, which will debut January 2009.
